There are moments that a camera can capture, but there are also moments that a camera can make you feel.
For me, photography and videography have never been about simply taking beautiful images. They`ve always been about chasing a feeling. The quiet before sunrise. The power of crashing waves. The thunder of waterfalls. The stillness of an alpine lake. The way light filters through the trees, or the feeling of standing on the edge of a cliff, completely humbled by the world around you.
Every time I head out with my camera, I come home with more than photos. I come home with memories, gratitude, and a deeper appreciation for the incredible place I get to call home.
This collection is a tribute to the places that have inspired me over the years. From the shores of Comox and Victoria, to the rugged beauty of Open Bay, Upper Campbell Lake, China Creek Falls, the Royston Wrecks, and the countless waterfalls, forests, mountains, and hidden corners that make Vancouver Island unlike anywhere else. Every location has left its mark on me and reminded me just how fortunate we are to live here.
I truly love what I do. Not because of the cameras or the drones, but because they allow me to share the emotions I feel when I`m standing in these places. Whether I`m watching the first light break over the ocean, standing beside a roaring waterfall, or flying above a coastline few people ever get to see, I`m reminded why I fell in love with this craft in the first place.
If even one image or one clip makes someone stop for a moment, take a breath, and appreciate the beauty around them, then I`ve done exactly what I set out to do.
This is more than a highlight reel.
It`s a love letter to Vancouver Island, to the wild places that inspire me, and to a passion that continues to grow every time I press the shutter.

Morning magic in Sayward.
There’s something special about watching the first light break through the clouds as the mountains slowly reveal themselves. The fog rolled through the forest while the sun painted the water with gold, reminding me why I love getting the drone in the air before most people are awake.
Nature always puts on the best show.

Sometimes the best camera is the one already in your pocket.
A little slow-motion magic from Little Qualicum Falls, captured entirely on my phone. The rush of the water, the mist in the air, and the reminder to slow down long enough to appreciate places like this.
Vancouver Island never disappoints. 🌲📱✨

A perfect bluebird day over downtown Victoria. ☀️🌊
I captured this view from above during my birthday weekend, and it’s hard to imagine a better way to celebrate. Clear skies, calm water, and one of the most beautiful cities on the West Coast showing off.
Sometimes all it takes is a little altitude to appreciate just how incredible British Columbia really is.

25° and absolute perfection at Myra Falls today. The water was roaring, the air was crisp, and everything just felt dialed in. Hard to beat that mix of sunshine, cool mist, and the sound of rushing water echoing through the rocks.
Sometimes you don’t need much, just a good spot, good weather, and a handheld shot to capture it exactly how it felt in the moment.
Vancouver Island never disappoints.

Comox Marina in the afternoon light 🌊
That mid-day calm where everything just settles in. Boats drifting, water shimmering, and the mountains quietly framing it all in the distance. No rush, no noise, just the kind of view that makes you stop for a second.
Vancouver Island doing its thing again.

Captured this just after sunrise with the drone, and the whole scene felt still, almost untouched. The water was perfectly calm, the sunlight stretching across the bay, and those old shipwrecks sitting quietly like they’ve been waiting there forever.
It’s wild to think about the history here. These were once working vessels, and now they’ve become part of the shoreline, part of the identity of the Comox Valley.
This is why I love getting out early and putting the drone up. No distractions, no noise, just a clean, peaceful view you can’t quite experience from the ground.
Some places don’t need much to stand out. This is one of them.
Royston Wrecks. April 17/26
There’s something powerful about standing in the same place… decades apart.
1960 → quiet streets, a working harbour, the beginning of a community finding its footing.
2026 → a thriving waterfront, lights, life, movement… and a city that never stopped growing.
Same shoreline. Same hills.
Different story.
This is what time looks like when people care enough to build, rebuild, and believe in what’s possible.
It’s easy to forget that every building, every street, every late-night idea… started as nothing more than a vision.
And one day, someone will look at what we’re building right now… the same way we look back at 1960.
Progress isn’t loud.
It’s consistent.
It’s patient.
And it shows up in moments like this.
